While masking will soon remain mandatory only in health institutions, health officials are recommending it be worn at a slew of other locations.
Chief Medical Officer Dr Roshan Parasram this morning suggested the places masks be still worn.
Speaking at the Ministry of Health COVID press briefing, he noted that this is based on the level of risk posed at the location.
Dr Parasram suggested that although the mask mandate is not in effect for public places, persons should undertake a personal risk assessment before deciding if to go mask less or not.
