Due to COVID-19 restrictions/lockdown Trinidad and Tobago athletes were unable to properly train for upcoming world events – nor were they able to compete at the games due to the Coronavirus – however that did not stop the country’s young stars from shining.
After two full years of no competition and or training, T&T’s junior track and field athletes have risen to the occasion at the 49th edition of the Carifta Games being held in Jamaica.
Team TTO has 10 Medals just after Day 1.
