AG Al Rawi: No Allegations Of Abuse Has Come To The Forefront Under The Current S.O.E.

So far no allegation of abuse has come to the forefront under the State of Emergency.

Confirmation of this came from Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi, while contributing to the motion extend State of Emergency for three months on Wednesday in the House of Representatives.

Mr Al Rawi said from information available to him there has been no allegations of abuse by soldiers or police officers under the S.O.E. and this is a positive development.

Mr Al Rawi also indicated he is not aware of any application before the courts with respect to the regulations now in place for the COVID-19 pandemic.
