Over 99,000 cruise ship passengers visited Tobago since the opening of the season in November last year up to April this year.
This is described as a 56 percent increase in arrivals to the sister isle.
The figure is made available by the tour operator who works with the cruise ships.
Feedback from some of the passengers has been encouraging and there is an interest to see more of the island.
The information was disclosed by Tobago House of Assembly Secretary for Tourism and Culture, Tashia Burris.
She was speaking at the assembly’s post-executive media briefing on Wednesday.
