Police found and seized 750 grammes of marijuana during a road check exercise carried out in the Malabar and Pinto districts between the hours of 4:45pm and 10pm on Saturday 26th September, 2020.
During the exercise, a party of officers acting on information received, went to Coconut Drive, Santa Rosa Heights, where they conducted a search of a field and discovered two black plastic bags containing marijuana under a pile of grass.
The exercise was coordinated by Ag/Insp Ward, supervised by PC Joseph with the assistance of the Northern Division Task Force East and Central.
Investigations are continuing.
