Two Tobago men are in custody after police found ecstasy in their vehicle in the Aranguez district on Tuesday.
During an exercise between 10am and 2pm, yesterday, officers stopped a silver Nissan Tiida in the Aranguez area.
They subsequently found four 5-litre plastic bottles containing the substance.
The men, ages 22 and 24 from Tobago, were detained.
Meanwhile an 18-year-old man was also held in Aranguez yesterday after he was found in possession of a Glock pistol loaded with 12 rounds of ammunition.
And in a separate incident, officers of the Pinto Police Post found 119 packages containing 64 kilograms of marijuana in an abandoned apartment in the vicinity of Boodoo Avenue.
The find was made yesterday during an Operation Blue Line exercise.
