Salim Muwakil, one of the men who was part of the 1990 coup, was shot and killed on Friday night.
Around 11:30pm, 66-year-old Muwakil was at his Green Drive, Diego Martin home, speaking to his son on the cellphone when two explosions ran out.
The son, who lives a short distance away, sped over to his father’s home and found him shot dead in his bed.
Investigations are currently underway.
