A 19-year-old woman identified as Kerrisse Keneisha Edwards is dead and five others are injured following an early morning accident in Gasparillo.
Reports indicate that at around 4:30 am, Edwards was a back seat passenger in a silver Toyota Fielder proceeding south along the Solomon Hochoy Highway, when the driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle and ran off the road.
The Fielderthen slammed into a concrete pillar near Harmony Hall.
Edwards died at the scene, while the driver and four passengers suffered injuries and are being treated at the hospital.
The vehicle was wrecked and taken to the Gasparillo Police Station.
Gasparillo police are investigating.
