Young Thug hit with additional misdemeanor charges

Young Thug is currently facing more charges in addition to his RICO indictment.

Last week, he was charged with four misdemeanors: street racing, reckless driving, speeding, and more.

During an incident on May 21, 2021, he was clocked driving at 120 mph in the southbound lanes of Interstate 85 near the exit to I-75 northbound.
According to police, Young Thug was not wearing a seatbelt while racing on the interstate.
His trial date is set for January, with jury selection set to begin on Jan. 5, 2023.  Young Thug is still in custody following his arrest in May 2022 as part of a widespread investigation into YSL.

Young Thug was indicted for conspiracy to violate Georgia’s RICO Act and participation in a criminal street gang in May. Prosecutors added six felony charges in August.

Gunna and more than two dozen YSL members were also indicted for racketeering. Prosecutors claim Young Thug’s YSL Records served as the front for a dangerous street gang.
