The search is on for a man who bludgeoned a 35-year-old woman at her Ste Madeleine home on Tuesday night.
The woman identified as Seema Seenauth, was at her Ste. Madeleine apartment around 9:30 pm, when she is said to have had an argument with the man, said to be a relative.
Neighbors reported hearing screams coming from the apartment and on investigation. found Seenauth lying on the ground with a wound to her head and in a semi-conscious state.
She was taken to hospital for urgent care.
Investigations are ongoing.
