The Water and Sewerage Authority is advising persons in the La Brea area, who are still experiencing an interruption in supply that there has been an unforeseen delay in completing repair work to ruptured pipeline at LP 1548 Southern Main Road, La Brea.
In a media release on Wednesday, WASA said the extensive emergency repair works are now scheduled to be completed by 6pm.
Affected areas include: Point D’or, Newlands, Cassava Alley, Belle View, Bassa Hill (high points), parts of Chinese Village, Pierre Road inclusive of all side streets.
WASA said a limited truck-borne water service will be available upon request.
