TTUTA President: Rose Hill shooting was “not an isolated incident”

TTUTA is open to any solution for the Rose Hill Primary School.

President Martin Lum Kin said however that while he is glad measures are being put in place to ensure that teachers and students are safe while on the compound, the measures put in place by the TTPS appear to be short term.

Speaking with Power 102 Digital’s Power Breakfast Show, he called for the implementation of additional long term solutions to address the issue.

Mr Lum Kin emphasized that the recent nearby shooting was not an isolated incident.

He suggested that while the situation is yet to reach the school directly, teachers remain aware of the danger.
