TTPS receives two missing persons reports daily, while 595 missing in T&T. Most people reported missing were women, accounting for approximately 55 per cent. Young women between the ages of 15 and 19 were the people most commonly reported missing. The majority of people, around 52 per cent, were between the ages of 15 years old and 19 years old.

The northern division received the largest number of missing persons between January 2018 and December 19, 2023, at 922 reports. Most of the reports came from Arima, Arouca, Cumuto, La Horquetta, Malabar, Maloney, Piarco, Maracas/St Joseph, Tunapuna, San Raphael and St Joseph. Second and third were Central and Southerns divisions at 733 and 728 respectively.

Between January 2018 and December 19, 2023, 4,546 people were reported missing to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS). Of these reports 87 % have been found but 595 or 13 % have not been found. 183 people (4%) were considered dead or found dead.
