The Police Service is assuring the business community and members of the public it will increase efforts and channel resources with an aim of dismantling gangs, who impinge on the everyday lives of citizens.
The public will also see increased patrols and higher visibility in the affected communities, which acts as a deterrent to lawless conduct.
It comes from the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service which said it viewed the Trinidad and Tobago Postal Corporation’s letter, advising their staff about their attire while carrying out their duties in certain communities.
The TTPS said its Executive reached out to the Management Team at TTPOST, who recently expressed concerns about the safety of their staff, and discussions were held regarding this matter.
