Tourism Trinidad revealed via its social media pages that it is proud to host actress Phylicia Rashad.
Rashad reportedly arrived on Tuesday evening.
She was then taken to the Phase II Pan Yard where she had her first corn soup and steelpan orchestral experience.
Rashad is a renowned actress and dean of the College of Fine Arts at Howard University.
She is best known for her role as Clair Huxtable on the sitcom The Cosby Show which earned her Emmy Award nominations in 1985 and 1986. She also played Ruth Lucas on Cosby.
