A scrap iron dealer was shot dead in Claxton Bay this morning,
Trevaughn Mitchell, 38, was leaving his home for work in his Mazda vehicle at La Sophie Trace, Claxton Bay, around 6.30 am, when he was ambushed by three assailants.
Investigators say more than 35 bullets were fired at Mitchell and his vehicle. He died on the scene.
He was the father of four children.
