A Tropical Wave began to affect the country just after 10pm on Tuesday.
According to Mora’s Weather Network online, Tropical Wave #15 is expected to move across the both islands.
Most of the weather activity is noted east of Trinidad and Tobago with relatively fair weather over the Northern islands.
Mora’s Weather Network reported that as such increasingly cloudy skies are anticipated as the night progresses accompanied by light to moderate showers initially over Eastern areas of Trinidad then spreading to other areas toward and after midnight.
There is a medium chance (60%) for thunderstorms in a few areas during the early morning and afternoon periods of Tuesday.
Gusty winds, street and flash flooding may occur in heavy downpours with or without thunderstorm activity.
