A worker for the San Juan Laventille Regional Corporation was gunned down while standing in San Juan this morning.
Forty-two-year-old Ray Victor had just finished working around 9am, and was liming at the corner of Second Street and Saddle Road when he was shot and killed.
One other person was reportedly shot during the incident and was rushed to hospital.
Police from the North Eastern Division Task Force visited the scene and cordoned off the area.
Officers of the Homicide Bureau of Investigations Region II also visited the scene.
Several businesses closed as their stores were inaccessible to customers.
