Ravi Rampaul tops bowling standings ahead of TKR-Tallawahs CPL-T20 clash

The CPL’s top wicket-taker this season is back in action today as Ravi Rampaul looks to extend his 15 wicket haul when the Trinbago Knight Riders face off against the Jamaica Tallawahs.

TKR won the last 5 matches against Tallawahs and will be looking to continue its streak.

With 4 of the top 10 wicket takers in the tournament at their disposal, TKR’s batsmen will be hoping for little to do in today’s matchup which bowls off at 10AM.

A victory for Tallawahs could see them jump back into the top 3 and push TKR down to 4th, while TKR instead will be hoping to oust the St Lucia Kings from 2nd place in the standings with a win today.

In the late game, Barbados Royals will be looking for some buoyancy as they try to move off the bottom of the table when they bowl off against Guyana Amazon Warriors.

Barring a blowout victory, it is unlikely that a victory will move them up given their net run rate.

However a win will end their three-game losing streak and may go some way to building confidence in a team that has been rooted to the bottom of the table for the majority of the tournament.
