Princes Town man found dead

Adil Mohammed, the 33-year-old man who was reported missing over the weekend has been found dead.

The body of the father of one was found near a savannah in Fairfield Road in Princes Town on Saturday night, (May 11).

Mohammed of Cemetery Street, in Princes Town, was last seen alive on May 10 at around 5 pm when he left home in his Toyota Carolla car.

Mohammed told a relative that he was going to buy barbeque and gas and possibly ply his car for hire in the Princes Town/St Croix Road area if the road was busy.

However, around 1 am on May 11, he failed to return home.

Relatives said all calls to Mohammed’s phone went straight to voicemail and they later contact Princes Town police.

At around 8. 30 pm on Saturday, they got a call that his body was found at Fairfield Road near the savannah. It was in a bushy area where people dump rubbish. The car remained missing.

The body had a wound to the head.

Investigators believe robbery to be the motive.
