West Indies legendary Openers Sir Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes To Be Conferred Honorary Doctor Of Laws Degrees.

International Cricket Council Hall-of-Famers, Sir Gordon Greenidge and Desmond Haynes, will be conferred honorary Doctor of Laws degrees at Saturday’s  University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus in Barbados virtual graduation ceremony.

The two legendary former West Indies openers will be conferred honorary Doctor of Laws degrees for their contribution to sport.

Mr Greenidge played one hundred and eight test matches during his career.

He scored seven thousand, five hundred and fifty eight runs.

In one day internationals, Mr.  Greenidge played one hundred and twenty-eight matches.

He made five thousand, one hundred and thirty-four runs.

Meanwhile, Desmond Haynes played one hundred and sixteen test matches for the West Indies and scored seven thousand, four hundred and eighty-seven runs.

At one day internationals, Mr Haynes played two hundred and thirty-eight matches and scored eight thousand, six hundred and forty-eight runs.
