Prime Minister Decries Spate Of Crime, Killing Of Six Year Old

The government will ensure crime does not pay; this is the response of Prime Minister, Keith Rowley, as he answered a question from a reporter relating to the recent murder of a six year girl at Sangre-Grande following a shooting in which several persons were injured.

Dr Rowley said protection of citizens, restoring safety and security in the country and all arms of the state and the nation population need to respond accordingly.

Prime Minister, Keith Rowley, said citizens must provide the authorities with information which can result inroads in the fight against crime.

Dr Rowley said the killing of a six year old child can in no way be tolerated.

The Prime Minister made it clear any government minister in which he does not have confidence in them will no longer be a part of his cabinet.
