No reports of persons dying as a result of receiving the vaccines in Trinidad and Tobago

There have been no reports of persons dying as a result of receiving the vaccines in Trinidad and Tobago.
This is according to Dr Sana Mohammed – Pulmonologist North Central Regional Health Authority who made the comment while speaking at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update this morning.
There has been concern among the population on the number of people who died after receiving the jab.

Meanwhile, Epidemiologist Dr Avery Hinds says there is no collapse of the Traditional health care system.
He gave the information in response to a question posed by 102 Digital on reports of no available beds at the Port of Spain General Hospital and Eric Williams Medical Sciences Hospitals.
We received word that an elderly patient had to be housed in the accident and emergency department of the POSGH for three days recently as there were no available beds to ward her.
Calls to the Mt Hope hospital revealed that there were no available beds there as well.
The patient who had suffered a stroke was eventually warded however she passed away.
Dr Hinds revealed that while he was unaware of the case in question, he was sure that the health care system was operating efficiently.

He also gave an update on the Sinopharm vaccines recently received by T&T and its expected expiration date.
