Police have yet to identify the man who was shot and killed in Laventille on Thursday.
Residents of St Paul Street reported hearing gunshots around 3pm.
When the investigated some time later, they found the deceased lying in a vacant lot, bleeding from wounds to the head.
He had been clad in green pants, a blue jersey, and had a bag strapped across his chest.
