Murder suspect among 3 arrested during police operation in Claxton Bay

A man wanted in connection with two homicides was one of three men arrested during an intelligence led operation in the Claxton Bay on Sunday.

According to reports, police officers from the Southern Division searched an abandoned house located on St. Johns Road, Claxton Bay between 2:00am and 4:00am, on Sunday 25th February, 2024.

The officers found three male occupants, one of whom was wanted for investigations into reports of two homicides. He was searched and one revolver with five rounds .38 ammunition was found on his person.

The other man who was caught in possession of 13 grammes of cocaine was arrested for possession Of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking. While the third man was arrested for Possession of Cannabis weighing 68 grams. All three men were taken to the Marabella Police Station.

This search was coordinated by Senior Superintendent Soodeen, ASP Phillip, Insp Ramlogan, supervised by Sgt Joseph, Sgt Mason and Cpl Lancaster and included officers of the Southern Division Task Force.
