More ferry sailings to assist with backlog

After hundreds of commuters were reported at the Port of Scarborough overnight, seeking a way to return home following the passage of Hurricane Beryl, the Trinidad and Tobago Inter Island Ferry Service has announced that additional sailings will be conducted to service the backlog on the sea bridge.

With sailings cancelled on Monday, the Service has ramped up services for Tuesday July 2 and Wednesday July 3. Regular services should return from Thursday.

Passengers will be accommodated on a first come – first served basis.
