A 33-year-old man identified as Keon Jevaughn Parker was gunned down while sitting in a car in Laventille on Tuesday morning.
Officers of the Port-of-Spain Task Force received a report of a shooting on the Eastern Quarry, around 9.45 am and witnesses pointed them to a black Mazda 3 in the area.
On checking the car, officers found the body of Parker bleeding from gunshot wounds to his face and chest.
Parker was taken to the Port-of-Spain General Hospital where he was declared dead at 10.20 am.
