A shooting in Port of Spain this morning has left a 43-year-old man critically injured.
The victim reported to police that at around 6 am, he was standing near a vendor along Prince Street, when he was approached by a masked man.
Without any word or warning, the man then shot the victim and then ran away from the scene.
An alarm was raised and the victim was taken to the Port of Spain General Hospital.
A team of officers led by Sgt Daulat responded and are continuing inquiries.
