KKR To Face Rajasthan Royals In Sunday’s IPL Final

West Indian players, Shimron Hetmyer and Rovman Powell will not be in the final of the Indian Premier League as their side Rajasthan Royals lost by 36 runs to Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second qualifier played today.

Hyderabad made 175 for 9 from 20 overs with Heinrich Klaasen leading the batting with 50 runs, Trent Boult and Avesh Khan had three wickets each.

In their run chase, Hyderabad restricted Royals for 139 for 7 from 20 overs in spite of 56 not out from Dhruv Jurel.

Sunrisers will play Kolkata Knight Riders in Sunday’s final in Chennai.

The Knight Riders are two-time winners (2012 and 2014) while Sunrisers have won the title once just once – in 2016.
