Kanye West to purchase social media app, ‘Parler’

Kanye West is set to acquire Parler, after being restricted from Instagram and Twitter.

Parler is a social media app that credits itself for being a “free speech platform.” The Chicago native rapper found himself deep in a number of controversies following anti-Semitic remarks he made just over a week ago.

In an official statement from Parler, the company says with Ye becoming the new owner, the acquisition will help create an “uncancelable ecosystem.” Parlement Technologies CEO George Farmer believes that the deal will “change the world, and change the way the world thinks about free speech.

Ye is making a groundbreaking move into the free speech media space and will never have to fear being removed from social media again.”
