There has been yet another oil leak on an oil transmission main.
Heritage Petroleum crew are currently at Oilwell Road, Massahood Junction in Fyzabad, where a 16 inch transmission pipeline ruptured sometime on Thursday morning and has since been isolated.
However, reports state that thick oil is still flowing into the roadside drains. The spill is being exacerbated by heavy rains.
This is the second time that a spill has developed in that area this year.
Siparia Mayor Doodnath Mayrhoo told media the pipeline appears to be compromised.
