The mandatory COVID-19 vaccination of the population is not an issue that has been discussed by the cabinet.
Attorney General, Faris Al Rawi, gave the update at a news briefing this afternoon.
The AG was at the time responding to question asked by a reporter on the topic.
The AG said internationally the matter has been engaging a lot of attention.
On another matter the Attorney General commented on the request from the Opposition Leader for a Commission of Inquiry to be held into government’s COVID-19 spending.
The AG said the Member of Parliament for Siparia is entitled to her views.
However, he is pleased with the various updates on this subject from various government ministers.
