Equality and social inclusion; freedom from violence; economic empowerment; access to health services and inclusive quality education are some of the issues discussed during a meeting Minister in the Office of the Prime Minister with responsibility for Gender and Child Affairs, Ayanna Webster-Roy and President of the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community, Chief Ricardo Bharath Hernandez.
It took place at the Gender and Child Affairs Division’s St Clair Office Friday.
The Gender and Child Affairs Division met with Chief Ricardo Bharath Hernandez, President of the Santa Rosa First Peoples Community on Friday 26th January, 2024 at the Division’s St Clair Office.
It is envisioned the partnership would include training, social support and entrepreneurship interventions and consideration will be given to utilize the Community’s trade in local handicraft products in the empowerment of women and girls.
