Eastern Division Officers Destroy Over $1M In Marijuana

Approximately 1.2 million dollars in marijuana has been destroyed by police officers of the Eastern Division.

This follows a drug eradication exercise in the district on Monday.

Repors say between 5:30 am and 12:00 pm, officers proceeded to Piper Trace, Torrib Trace, Brothers Road, Rio Claro, where they identified and destroyed three fields containing a total of 900 fully grown marijuana trees and two camps containing approximately 45 pounds of cured marijuana.

The total street value for the drug destroyed is $1,260,000.00.
