Eight samples have been tested for Monkeypox in Trinidad and Tobago.
This is according to the minister of Health Terrence Deyalsingh.
He made the comment while speaking at the Ministry of Health’s Covid Media Update this morning.
He said that everything is being done to ensure the safety of citizens In terms of Covid and Monkeypox.
The Health Minister also gave an update on the Monkeypox vaccines that have been ordered by the T&T Government for the population.
He said that there is still no specific date for its arrival.
He also lamented the fact that small states like Trinidad and Tobago have issues accessing the Monkeypox vaccine just like it did initially with the vaccines for the Covid 19 virus.
