A 36-year-old Port of Spain contractor was murdered in Sangre Grande last night.
Kevon Frederick, of St Barbs Road, Port-of-Spain, was shot and killed at Walke Street, Sangre Grande.
Police reports say he was washing down a work area when a man dressed in dark clothing and wearing a mask entered through the gate and approached him.
The man then pulled out a firearm and several loud explosions were heard.
He was later found on the ground with several gunshot wounds about the body.
Investigations are ongoing.
