Three Sealots men were caught red-handed as they attempted to break into a gas station in Barataria on Tuesday morning.
Around 2:50am, PC’s Chinpire and Cudjoe received a call of men seen attempting to break into the gas station at the Maritime Roundabout in Barataria.
The officers, along with Task Force officers, Cpl Daniel, PC’s Ali and Morris, arrived at the location within two minutes and then cordoned off the area.
They then detained the men ages, 18, 30 and 31 years.
The men had already broken a door on the southern side of the building and was attempting to enter the other section when they were apprehended.
A knapsack containing a grinder, pit foot, screwdriver, hammer and extension cord was also seized.
