The Health Ministry has recorded 8 additional deaths and 257 new positive COVID-19 cases.
The deaths included in 1 elderly male, 3 elderly females and 2 middle aged females with comorbidities and 1 middle aged male and 1 middle aged female without comorbidities.
This has brought the total number of Covid related deaths to 1,414.
In it’s 4pm update on Saturday, the MOH also revealed that 24 people have been discharged from hospital and there have been 126 recovered community cases.
