Tunapuna police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Tunapuna on Monday afternoon, which left a 19-year-old woman and a man nursing gunshot wounds.
Around 2:50pm yesterday, the two were standing with a group of people on Jubilee Street, Tunapuna, when a white Nissan Tiida drove up and the occupants began firing at them.
The teen and the man were hit several times and the vehicle then sped off.
Passers-by took the wounded pair to the hospital where the woman was treated for two gunshots to her ankle. The man had been shot in the chest.
Six spent shells and a live round of ammunition were found at the scene.
