Singer El Debarge had a run-in with law enforcement.
According to TMZ, the “Rhythm of the Night” artiste was stopped by cops at a Burbank gas station after they noticed he had expired tags.
They also spotted an expandable metal baton in plain sight in his vehicle.
Since it’s illegal, cops continued to search his vehicle and came across pepper spray and suspected narcotics, per the outlet.
In addition to all of that, they also found out DeBarge didn’t have a valid driver’s license.
As a result of their alleged findings, the singer was arrested and booked on several charges including possession of a leaded cane or baton, possession of a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
