Tobagonian man murdered overnight while the island is battered down for Beryl

While thousands of Tobagonians sat waiting for the passage of Hurricane Beryl, a man was shot and killed in Mt Pleasant.

The deceased has been identified as Nathan Roach, 30, of Roach Trace.

Police report that at around 11.50p.m. gunmen entered his house and shot him.

He was found by relatives on the bedroom floor, and died at the Scarborough General Hospital.

The killing is the 11th homicide in Tobago this year.
