St Margaret’s Boy’s AC Primary School are the 2024 National Schools Panorama champions in the Primary School category.
Before a packed crowd at the Queen’s Park Savannah on Sunday, the Belmont based band copped the top prize with their energetic rendition of ‘Engine Room’ by Olatunji.
Guaico Presbyterian took the 2nd place spot and San Fernando Boys’ RC in third.
This was the 12th win for the St Margaret’s Boy
In the Secondary Schools category, Holy Faith Convent, Penal wowed the judges with Kes’ ‘Savannah Grass’.
Providence Girls’/ QRC with ‘Fuh Spite’ again by Kes and Naparima Combined with ‘Call My Name’ by Destra tied for 2nd place.
The 21 and Under category trophy went to BP Renegades Youth Steel Orchestra with their selection ‘Woman’ by Voice.
There was a tie for second place – T&TEC Tropical Angel Harps and Desperadoes Youth, who played ‘Engine Room’ and ‘Sweet for Days’ respectively.
