Ten-year-old Terik Patterson and his father David Patterson remain warded in critical condition at hospital, following an attack at their home in St James on Wednesday.
Terik, a standard-four student of Ascension AC School, was reportedly in the bathroom of his family’s ground-floor apartment at Lutchman Drive, Dibe, St James, when gunmen stormed in.
The child was shot in the forehead.
The suspects shot his father several times while he was asleep.
The gunmen then escaped on foot along a narrow track leading to several other houses.
Relatives said the persons who committed the act were wicked.
