National Security Minister, Fitzgerald Hinds, says appropriate measures have been taken after eight prison inmates and seventeen prison officers tested positive for COVID-19.
Minister Hinds told the Senate during the question and answer period this afternoon the development is being handled in a professional way.
Minister Hinds said action is also being carried out to ensure there is no possible spread of the virus.
