Christine Kangaloo will officially be sworn in as President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobagoon Monday, March 20th.
The Office of the President said the inauguration ceremony will take place at the Queen’s Park Savannah grandstand, the same location where President Paula Mae Weekes was inaugurated.
The Office of the President says the ceremony should follow the standard protocols with the invitation of several dignitaries, prayers, a choir and a small military parade.
Former Senate President Christine Kangaloo was elected president on January 20th by the electoral college, overwhelmingly beating the UNC’s nominee for president, Israel khan.
