48-year-old Freeport man found dead in bed after gunshots ring out

A 48-year-old man is dead after being shot at his Freeport home on Sunday morning.

Dead is Barry Millard, of Gurahoo Trace, Chase Village, Freeport.

Millard’s son, Peter Millard, reported hearing gunshots at around 1.15 am, but paid it no mind and failed to check.

It was at 5.30 am that his brother Treffon, 26, found their father dead on his bed which was covered in blood.

Freeport police station are investigating.
