2 Sangre Grande brothers hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds

Two Sangre Grande brothers are warded at hospital after being shot multiple times during the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Twenty-year old Sean Lamotte and his 17-year-old brother, Issac Lamotte, had to undergo emergency surgery and are to remain warded at the Sangre Grande Hospital.

Sean was shot multiple times on both his arms and one shot to his head while his younger brother was shot on his right arm and right side of his neck.
Both are from Madoosingh Lane, Ojoe Road, Sangre Grande.

Around 1:30 am, the mother of the victims said she was asleep at their home when she was awakened by four loud explosions.

On checking, she found that two of her sons were suffering from gunshot wounds about the body.

Officers of the Sangre Grande Police station were contacted and upon arrival, found the two young men lying on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds about the body.

Police obtained six spent 9mm casing and one projectile at the scene.
