18-year-old boy shot by stray bullet while buying doubles outside bank

A brazen shooting outside the First Citizens Bank in Arima on Monday 10th June, 2024 has left a teenager wounded.

According to reports, the teenage boy, who is said to be a student of MIC Institute of Technology, was reportedly buying doubles when a security guard allegedly began shooting at a bandit.

The teen attempted to take cover; however, he was struck by a bullet.

He was rushed to the Arima District Health Facility where he received medical treatment.

Investigations are ongoing.
