Officers of the Western Division, along with members of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard were informed of a party ‘Down the Islands’ last evening and quickly moved into action.
Full details are yet to be revealed, but izzso media understands that police officers and TTCG officers detained around 90 people who were at the party, which had little social distancing and where the wearing of face masks was limited to a few.
The party was immediately broken up and all individuals taken for questioning.
They will all likely be charged with breaching public health regulations.
