The Minister of National Security, Stuart Young, is clearing the air as it pertains to reports which he says are misleading regarding a decision reopen T&T’s borders.
Minister Young in a media release issued this evening said that, “there has been absolutely NO DECISION with respect to the opening of the borders of Trinidad and Tobago and any report to the contrary is completely false and misleading.”
The Minister further indicated that, “the Government continues to be guided by expert public health advice and will announce any future decisions with respect to the response to COVID-19 and the management of this pandemic as it has done since January 2020 via official government announcements.”
